Healthy and Easy Overnight Oats Recipe

For those some of us who have to get up early in the morning, but may not necessarily be morning people, there seems to be this constant battle between “more sleep” and “having enough time” in the morning. Between showering, walking around half-naked in a stupor, making breakfast, and all the other little tasks that seem to add up to a mountain to do in the morning it’s easy to end up skipping breakfast or going with something less nutritious in favor of something quick and easy. But what if you could have BOTH quick and easy AND nutritious together. Here is your answer. Overnight oats can be prepared in bulk ahead of time and then it only takes two minutes the night before to get ready and then you’re instantly ready to grab and go in the morning. Be prepared to revolutionize your morning.

Raw Ingredients:

Add all of the following ingredients to some sort of storage container with a lid. We like to use a mason jar. We recommend prepping a week’s worth at a time and storing them in your pantry so they’re ready to go

1/2 Cup Raw Oats
1 Tbsp Chia Seeds (Black or White)
1 Tbsp Raw Shelled Hemp Seeds
1/4 Tsp Cinnamon
1-2 Scoops of your favorite Protein Powder (we like //link to store//)

Night Before Prep:

Simply add your choice of liquid to your dry ingredients and place in the fridge overnight.

1 Cup Almond Milk or Coconut Milk

Optional additional goodies to add either morning of or night before:
1/4 Cup Fresh Fruit (Blueberries, strawberries, mango etc. We recommend chopping the night before, but adding in the morning so most fresh)
1⁄4 Cup Raw Nuts (chopped almonds, walnuts, pecans, mac nuts etc.)
1 Spoonful of Almond Butter
1/4 Cup Yogurt (try plain full fat goat yogurt over greek or regular cow’s milk for better digestion)

You can get as creative as your taste buds call for. The idea is that you simply throw all these raw ingredients together in a mason jar the night before, put a lid on it and let it soak overnight and then you’re good to go in the morning! This recipe is beyond easy and still allows you to keep your nutrition on point.
